Kristen Painter writes fantasy and paranormal romance in between her duties as Co-founder and Promotions Director of RomanceDivas.com, an award-winning romance writers resource website and forum, where she has published several book reviews and articles.

Kristen was born in the mountains of Pennsylvania and grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After two years of art and design school in NYC, she changed her major to English and moved back to Maryland, where she pursued an English degree with a concentration in creative writing.

Originally a poet, she turned her pen to fiction and has found a release for her ever active imagination in woman’s literature.

Currently residing in Florida with her husband, an officer in the United States Air Force, and her four daffy cats, she is a member of the Chesapeake Romance Writers and the Romance Writers of America.
