Inspiration is one of those ethereal things like wind. You can't see it, but when it's there, you know. ALL FIRED UP was very definitely inspired by a piece of artwork I found online, Mixed Ashes. The artist, Madeline Gusdal, captured something that really spoke to me. Made me think...what if? What if the phoenix wasn't just a bird that could rise from the ashes, but a man? Or a whole group of men? And what if those men had the power to change lives, to offer rebirth, just like the phoenix bird was reborn? Who would they work for? How would that person bestow such power? As you can tell, her picture inspired not just an idea, but a whole new world of intrigue, betrayal, revenge and redemption - and that world turned into All Fired Up.
